Risk Matrix Severity

This section explains how to configure Risk Matrix Selection values.

Configure Severity

Severity is the amount of harm that is defined for the risk matrix. There is no limit in the number of severities that can be defined for VisiumKMS.

Note

The user must have the Admin Group assigned to configure severity. The Admin Group can only be assigned from the database.

To configure the severity for the risk matrix:

1. The user navigates to Administration>Manage Selections.
2. In the left pane under Risk Matrix, select Severity.
3. Click Add Selection.
4. A new entry will added to the list called "New Selection"
5. Click on New Selection. A grid will be displayed.
6. Click Edit - change the Display Value. The user may also edit other languages to configure.
7. The user can also add a description of the severity
8. Click the update button to save. The Selection will be updated with the new value.
9. The check box above the grid will set the new selection to Active when checked. If the box is unchecked, the selection is set as Inactive.
