Cost Category

Select Administration>Selections>General>Cost Category to add or edit a cost category.

When a Cost Category is created, it can be marked as ‘Confidential’. This allows the Responsible Person/Incident Team Leader or a user with access rights to choose whether or not the cost will be hidden when that Cost Category is associated with the Investigation. Setting a Cost Category as ‘Confidential’ does not force it to be hidden; it simply gives the Responsible Person/Incident Team Leader the right to choose as it whether or not it applies to each Incident. However, if this option is not selected, the Responsible Person/Team Leader is not allowed to mark the entry as ‘Confidential’.

When the Cost Categories are assigned to an Incident, all Categories assigned to all locations appear in red. Cost Categories assigned to a user's specific location appear in black text. All Cost Categories assigned to a user's location and to all locations appear in each Investigation.

Add/Edit Cost Category
