Risk Assessor Methodologies

Once this is configured, the user will be ready to enter data into Risk Assessor.

Add Methodology

To add a methodology, use the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.
  2. Click the Add Methodology button. A window will open to add the methodology details.
  3. If the methodology is Active, the user should allow the box to remain checked. If the methodology is inactive, uncheck the box.
  4. Select the number of levels from 1 to 3. These will be associated to the Common Response.
  5. If there are multiple languages, the user may select a language.
  6. Type in the Name of the Methodology.
  7. Type in the Description of the Methodology.
  8. Type in the Index, For example - Deviation
  9. Type in the Column 1 name. For example - Parameter
  10. Type in the Column 2 name. As an example - Guide Words
  11. Based upon the number of level selected, type in the Level 1 name. These will be column headers in the risk assessment section Assess Risk.
  12. Type in Level 2 name.
  13. Type in Level 3 name.
  14. Click OK . The window will close and the Methodology will be added to the grid.

Edit Methodology

To edit a methodology, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.
  2. To the right of the Methodology click the edit icon. A window will open to edit the analysis methodology.
  3. Make any necessary changes. The user may decide to add levels, change names of columns, levels.
  4. Click OK. The window will close and the methodology will be updated in the database.

Manage Categories

  1. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.
  2. Highlight the Methodology to activate the Manage Categories button. Click the Manage Categories button. A window will open to manage the categories.
  3. To select the top level, click the collapsed check box. To select the child level, expand the top level and check each box to include.
  4. Click OK. The categories will be displayed in the grid.

Remove Methodology Categories

  1. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.
  2. Highlight the Methodology to activate the Manage Categories button.
  3. Click the Manage Categories button. A window will open to manage the categories.
  4. Click the box of any of the Categories to deselect.
  5. Click OK. The system will be updated with the selections removed.
  6. Add Common Response
  7. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.
  8. Highlight the Methodology to activate the Add Common Response button.
  9. Click the Common Response button. A window will open to manage the common response.
  10. Using the drop down, select a Level (required). The number of levels will be dependent upon what the user added in the Methodology (between 1 and 3 levels).
  11. Type in the Response.
  12. Click OK. The Response grid will be updated.

Edit Common Response

  1. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.
  2. Highlight the Methodology to activate the common response.
  3. Click the Edit icon to the right of the common response. A window will open to manage the common response.
  4. Make any modifications to the level or response.
  5. Click OK. The modified record will be updated in the database.

Delete Common Response

  1. Navigate to Administration > Risk Assessor Methodologies. The user will be presented with a grid of methodologies.

  2. Highlight the Methodology to activate the common response.

  3. Click the delete icon to the right of the common response. A confirmation window will be displayed.

  4. Click OK to continue the removal. The common response will be removed from the grid.
