Under the OSHA Recordkeeping regulation (29 CFR 1904), covered employers are required to prepare and maintain records of serious occupational injuries and illnesses. This information is important for employers, workers and OSHA in evaluating the safety of a workplace, understanding industry hazards, and implementing worker protections to reduce and eliminate hazards. As part of the VisiumKMS the OII module is a safety management tool that tracks OSHA required case data and generate an export of 301 Report as well as export of the 300 Log.
To access OII, select the OII module from the Switchboard by clicking on the module name or from the Modules drop down, select OII.
The OII Module provides the ability to produce the OSHA Form 300A and Form 301.
To create or add a new illness or injury, the user will navigate to Investigator. The user will be presented with a grid of My Assignments.
