Recommended Actions

When the user has added the recommended actions in the Assess Risks, the user can user the header ID to navigate back to risk assessment details.

To delete a recommended action, the user can do this by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Recommended Actions tab. The user will be presented with a grid of recommended actions. Columns will include: Description, Target Date, Assigned To, Status, Reference ID, Risk Level and Associated. Along with those columns a check box is available to mark one or multiple actions to be deleted.
  2. Click on the check box of the selected recommended action. The Export to Tracker and the Delete button will become active.
  3. Click the delete button.
  4. A confirmation message will open and if the user would like to continue Click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel. The recommended action will be removed from the grid.

To export a recommended action, use the following steps:

  1. Click on the Recommended Actions tab.
  2. Check the boxes of the recommended actions to export.
  3. Click the Export to Tracker button. An Export to Tracker window will open. Here the user will type in the details.
  4. Use the radio buttons to select if one Tracker Record or Multiple Tracker Records will be exported.
  5. Select the location.
  6. Select the radio button for the type - MOC or REC.
  7. Select the Source associated to the recommended action(s).
  8. If the user has the permissions, the Auto Accept into Tracker is available. This will allow the tracker item to bypass the approval process to accept into tracker.
  9. Type in a Title
  10. Use the drop down to select a Responsible Person.
  11. Use the graphical calendar to select the Target Closure Date.
  12. With the drop down, select a Priority.
  13. Type in a Description of the recommended action.
  14. Type in a Justification for the recommended action.
  15. The user may select Basis.
  16. The user may select Suggested Fix.

Once all of the information is entered, click OK. The window will close and the Reference ID column will display the REC ID number.

To export a recommended action, use the following steps:

  1. Click on the Recommended Actions tab.
  2. Check the boxes of the recommended actions to export.
  3. Click the Export to Tracker button. A confirmation window will open.
  4. The user will need to answer the confirmation window. If the user would like to continue and export the action to the Source Link, Click OK, The window will close and the Reference ID will be the Source Link number.
