Send for Approval
When the user has completed the details associated with the risk assessment, it can be sent for approval. To send the risk assessment for approval, under Record Options click the Send for Approval icon.
If Risk Assessor BadgerMails have been configured, the approver would get a BadgerMail to look at the risk assessment to approve.
To approve follow these steps:
- At this time the Approver can login to VisiumKMS and navigate to Risk Assessor.
- Under Record Options, click the Approve icon. The user will be present with a grid of risk assessments to approve. The columns will include Reference ID, Title, Prefix, Facilitator, Location, Target Date, Approve and Deny.
- If the approver would like to see the details of the risk assessment, Click on the reference ID. or
- The approver could check the Approve Check Box
- Click Save. The RAS reference number will be removed from the grid and the status in the Record Details will be set as Ready for Assessment.
Deny Assessment
To Deny Assessment, please follow these steps:
- Under Record Options, click the Approve icon. The user will be present with a grid of risk assessments to approve. The columns will include Reference ID, Title, Prefix, Facilitator, Location, Target Date, Approve and Deny.
- If the approver would like to see the details of the risk assessment, Click on the reference ID. or
- The approver could check the Deny Check Box
- Click Save. The RAS reference number will be removed from the grid and the status in the Record Details will be set as Denied.
Start Assessment
Once the Assessment is approved, the user can click the Start Assessment under the Record Options.
This will move the work flow to Conduct.
Send for Final Approval
Once the user has completed all aspects of the risk assessments, the assessment is ready to be sent for Final Approval. Under record options, click Send for Final Approval. The workflow will display that the Conduct phase is completed. If BadgerMail is configured, the approver will receive a BadgerMail for an assignment to be approved.
The Approver will click on the Approve Assessment. The page will refresh and the Workflow will dhow the Final Approval completed and the Risk Assessment will be closed. Once the risk assessment is closed nothing can be added, however, the Export to Spreadsheet is still available.
Re-Open a Closed Investigation Record
There may be times that a closed record must be re-opened. To re-open an Investigation record the user must have the appropriate permissions.
To re-open a record follow these steps:

Use search to find the closed record (Complete) and open the record using the link

Under Record Options click the Reopen icon

The record is reopened and ready to be updated.
