Close Audit

The auditor has conducted the audit, exported the recommendations, and now will need to close the audit.

To close the audit, the auditor should do the following:

  1. Navigate to Auditor
  2. Select the Audit to close. The user will be directed to the Proposal tab.
  3. Enter the Actual Man Days.
  4. Type in the Executive Summary
  5. If there is a Next Audit Date and the Audit Completion Date, using the graphical calendar
  6. Using the graphical calendar enter the Draft Report Date and the Final Report Date
  7. Click Send for Final Approval

Approve the Closure of the Audit

The Approver will get an assignment in Auditor, to approve the closing of the audit.

  1. Click on the Audit Reference Number link to open the audit
  2. Under Record Options, click the Approve Audit
  3. Click Save.

The audit will be closed and fields will be not be editable. The Workflow will have Final Approval checked as completed. The Record Details will display the Status as Complete.

Deny Final Approval

To deny a Final Approval:

  1. The Approver will get an assignment in Auditor, to approve the closing of the audit.
  2. Click on the Audit Reference Number link to open the audit
  3. Under Record Options, click the Deny Audit
  4. Click Save.

The Audit will be set back to "In Progress" under the Record Details Status. The user can make the necessary changes and Send for Final Approval again.

Cancel the Audit

To cancel an audit:

The user must be assigned the Audit-Can-cancel security token.

  1. In the audit record, click Cancel under Record Options.
  2. A window will appear asking if you want to continue to cancel the record, click OK.
  3. The audit status will change to “Canceled” and the record will be closed.

Re-Open a Closed Record

There may be times that a closed record must be re-opened. To re-open an Auditor record the user must have the appropriate permissions.

To re-open a record follow these steps:

`. Use search to find the closed record and open the record using the link 2. Under Record Options click the Reopen icon 3. The record is reopened and ready to be updated.
